What is a Memory Mate?

Memory Mates are 8x10 photo sheets popluated with 1 - 3.5x5 individual photo and 1 - 5x7 group photo. Memory Mates are personalized with student name, grade, teacher, school and school year.

What is a Theme Pack?

A theme pack is a photo package that contains photo sheets with digital borders and personalization items like student name and school year. Different photo sheets have different personalziation characteristics. Themed photo sheet sizes include 8x10, 5x7, 3.5x5 and 2.5x3.5 wallet photos. Theme packs have been designed to match with either pose #1 or pose #2. Our photo samples show different themed examples. Be sure to reference your order form for the ones available in your school.

Star packs are new. What are those things?

This is the newest product in our school photo line-up. A star pack is double-sided, 8.5x11 laminated photo sheet. Within the sheet, there are perforations to punch out a number of different products. Each pack contains 2 bookmarks, 4 bag tags, 2 key tags, 1 door hanger and 1 ruler. One side of the star pack products displays a design theme (such as classroom graphics or Christmas items). The reverse side includes an individual student photo.

How do personalization options work?

Photo personalization is automatically added to photo sheets in our theme packs. All 2.5x3.5 wallet photos also come personalized with student name and year. Please ensure that the order form contains the correct spelling of the student's name.

How is a key fob different from a key tag?

Key fobs are included free with many of our school photo packages. Key fobs come in sets of 3 and break apart to fit on your existing key ring (kinda like the easy pay tags at gas stations). The fobs are made of a hard plastic similar to that of a credit card. Key tags only come as part of a star pack. They are a little more colourful, but also a little less durable than the key fobs. Both products are designed to fit on an existing key ring.

What kind of bag tags are available?

Three kinds, currently. Our team sport program offers credit-card sized tags made of a durable plastic. Each bag tag comes with a rubber cord so it can be fastened quickly to pretty much anything. The bag tags in our school program come as part of a star pack. See above for information on star packs.

What's the difference between a wallet and mini-wallet photo?

Standard wallet sized photos are 2.5x3.5 inches big. They come 8 to a sheet. Mini-wallets are about 1.75x2.5 and come 16 to a sheet. 2.5x3.5 wallets come personalized at no charge.

Can you describe the 8x10 photo puzzle?

It's exactly what you imagine a puzzle to be. Each is 8x10 in size and comprised of 60 pieces. Please note that we aren't able to control precisely where the cuts are made and can't guarantee that a puzzle seam won't be present over an eye, mouth or nose.

Is the 8x10 photo calendar no longer available?

Yes, this is a legacy product that has been losing popularity over the years. Send us an e-mail if you'd like to inquire about having one added to a photo package.

Can I order a button from your school program?

Well, they're more of a team photo item, but like the calendar above, send us an e-mail and we'll figure something out for you.

Back to those wallet photos. Can I order them without personalization?

Not really... but yes. Send us an e-mail with your request and we'll try make the substitution for you.

What information will appear on my photos?

Theme packs may display various information such as student first name, student last name, school year, and school name. Memory mates will also include teacher name and grade.

Can I print my own pictures if I buy the photo CD?

You bet. The photos you receive on CD are the same ones that came out of our camera. That is, uncropped, untouched, and unedited. You may edit and print however you like. They're yours.

How will my photos be cropped?

At the complete discrection of the photographers at the time of printing. The photo proofs on your order form give a good approximation of how they'll appear. However, all fine adjustments are made later in the production process to make sure that photos are properly centered and don't have that "too far away" look.

The photo proofs looked a little fuzzy. Will my photo package look better?

Absolutely. All photo proofs are printed at low-resolution on inkjet or laser printers. All photographs are printed on professional Kodak paper with a rich, lustre finish.

Can I order black and white or sepia-toned pictures?

Not at the moment. We'd suggest buying the photo CD so you can edit and manipulate your photos to your liking.
